The Trump Administration’s Program of Cruelty Against Asylum Seekers Violates International Law
- People, including young children and infants, are being deprived of safe and sanitary conditions while they are waiting for their asylum applications to process.
- They are not being given enough food, water, or infant formula.
- They are given spoiled and frozen food to eat and dirty water to drink.
- Guards physically and verbally abuse the migrants.
- They are being forced to sleep on the floor, with the lights on, and have their sleep interrupted by frequent checks.
- The detention centers are very cold.
- They have no access to showers or toothbrushes.
- Many migrants seeking asylum in the United States do not speak English or Spanish. If their paperwork doesn’t come in their native language, the application process becomes effectively impossible and they could be detained indefinitely.
- Reporters, lawyers, humanitarians, and even US congress members are being prevented from visiting the detention centers to offer help and oversight.
- This is Trump’s version of chattel slavery.
Soon after reporting on the inhumane conditions found at America’s concentration camps for Latin American Families, Douglas Dietrich was taken off air by YouTube. Douglas Dietrich is the most censored and suppressed public speaker. He has been banned or blocked on every major platform. His gangstalkers have inside connections with YouTube and Facebook. It’s a miracle he’s even still able to transmit Critical Omissions when he does, and yes, multiple assassination attempts have been made against Dietrich’s life.
